I
loved Gretchen's workshop and
playing with the snakes. I feel
lovingly embraced by them and
radiantly embodied.

Gretchen owns 11 snakes, many of
which are in the workshop. While
having an educational experience you
also have a spiritual dance/ritual with
the snakes. All of her snakes are
very tame and gentle.
Elizabeth Cooper, Age 11
The Serpent, Moon and
Goddess ritual was a journey that
moved my heart, mind and soul. I
shed layers of cultural conditioning, in
likeness to the serpent shedding its
skin and finding at my core an
ancient knowing of my feminine power.

I wanted to let you know how much
dancing with your snake has changed
my life. Not only was it empowering
at the time, but I feel that part of the
reason I got pregnant is because of the
dance in the Mother Spiral.

Deep
in our psyches there is a wound where we as women feel
bad about ourselves. We see woman as divine goddess in
culture or abased in shame and oppression. We learn of
the serpent as a symbol in medicine and also denigrated
as vile and deadly in myth. What is the truth? Woman and
serpent are bound through mythology. When we come to know
the truth of the serpent, we come to understand our true
nature as well. We cast aside the lies. We step into our
power.
Gretchen offers you a most important and rare gift. It
is a direct homecoming to the Goddess. She gifts you with
her lifetime connection to the serpent and the moon and
opens a portal to the ancient temple so that you can have
a clear body memory of when women were honored as divine.
In rituals that include ancient symbols, chanting songs,
making magic from heartfelt intentions and the serpents
whose bellies are closest to the Earth Mother, you will
journey far in one of the most authentic ceremonies enacted
by the modern woman. It is a safe place for you to work
with your fears and become magnificently empowered.
Serpentess Moonwise's work is pivotal in The Priestess
Path Apprenticeship as initiation. I always cry from witnessing
the depth and recovery of what has been long lost to us.
We are so blessed that she is answering her inner calling
by enacting these ancient/modern ceremonies with living
animals.
