A Workshop with Serpentessa and her Snakes

WORKSHOP FORMAT :

• Snake handling orientation provided. No prior snake knowledge necessary.
• Honoring choices for hands-on experience with my 3-6 live gentle Boa Constrictor Snakes.
• Learn the basic positions to hold a snake that are safe and sensual.
• Belly dancing framework. Access your Divine Feminine power as you learn to belly dance in the temple with live gentle Boa Constrictor Snakes.
• Choreography within the improvised phrase captivates your audience.
• Photos with Snakes as memento.

Optional: Dance at your Hafla with my Serpents! No extra charge. Only available for same day snake workshops. Inquire with Serpentessa for details.

WORKSHOP LENGTH & ATTENDANCE: People generally want more, not less, physical time with the snakes. A general ratio regarding time would be 3-4 attendees and snakes to 1 hour. 3-5 hr wkshp = 12 attendees / 5-12 hr wkshp = 24 attendees. In-depth workshops are limited to a maximum of 24 participants.

SPACE: A pleasant, open yoga or dance space is best suited for the snakes. Home studios may be applicable. Outdoor space pending season & weather.

VALUE PROPOSITION: Physical interspecies communication with snakes is a rare and unforgettable experience.
Cognitive results include:

• improvement in improvisational skills

• overcoming a fear of snakes

PRICING STRUCTURE: Built into my pricing is:

• sponsor profit
• affordable pricing for workshop attendees
• an investment in future workshops
• the needs of my Snakes which results in a limited amount of attendees

My hourly wage is $100 with a negotiable donation of time per workshop plus .485 cents per mile beyond the first hour of travel each way. Hotel, airfare, food pending where applicable.
For any profit generated beyond my hourly wage and after expenses and sponsor payment, I ask that proceeds be split 50/50 with the sponsor and Serpentessa.

In this example, expenses were estimated high. To establish Registration prices, please remember there is a limited amount of attendees per workshop which is why I am willing to donate time. Sponsor fees, expenses and # of attendees need to be estimated prior to our negotiation of my donated fee.

All Serpentessa performance fees to be negotiated separately with exception of optional workshop snake dance for hafla. See Performance page for options and pricing.

SUGGESTED WORKSHOP PRICES: $60 for a 3 hour workshop with a cap of 12 in attendance. $100 for a 5 hour workshop with a cap of 24 in attendance.

MY PHILOSOPHY: I am an ardent and committed belly dancing snake priestess, aware that re-birthing the ancient serpent wisdom back into today's world is an esoteric and experiential field. Over the last 15 years I have been setting precedents resulting in many verbal and written testimonies from dancers and participants who have experienced the value in their lives.
